The construction of the most modern treatment plant for hazardous, fibrous waste such as asbestos and artificial mineral wool was completed in 2016 in Bersteland / OT Freiwalde.
The large refurbishment area with approx. 160 sqm floor space and 3 m ceiling height also offers space for large components to be worked on. Via rolling and sectional doors, the material is channeled in via the 2-chamber material lock (170 square meters in total).
The room air and fresh air flap control is carried out via an automatically controlled system unit. Access to the rehabilitation area is ensured by a 4 - chamber personnel lock with 2 positively locked showers. For work in the rehabilitation area, a 2.0 tons lift truck is available.
